We started the day off with a visit to the pool at our hotel. Abigail, Benson and Sadie warmed up in the hot tub. That morning we had the pool area to ourselves which we loved.
Abigail and Sadie loved playing with Sadie's new little kitchen set out on the screen porch. This donation from a neighbor is a very popular toy
and almost as good as the real thing. Sadie and Abigail help me make a batch of cookie dough. We planned to cut out and bake shamrocks but we never quite got around to it. Hope you used up that yummy dough, Libbie.
Off we went to the aquarium, Boardwalk and later the beach. You can see the kids are ready for adventure.
By the time we got to the beach at the end of the afternoon, it was chilly so our visit didn't last long. We planned to come back on Saturday anyway.
The kids enjoy the playground at the Boardwalk shopping area. They also liked feeding the fish and climbing around on the statues.
Everyone enjoyed the aquarium. Here the kids are leaning over in an attempt to pet the rays. They had a formal petting opportunity later in the day, but we were ready to move on, so we didn't stay for that. We crammed quite a bit into our first day in South Carolina, don't you think?
