After the Move, then?

We try to have dinner with Hilary and Adam and their family on Sundays.  Adam usually walks in just as we are starting to think that we won't wait any longer.  The kids love having their Dad around.
We got pre-packaged amore's from the wedding reception which we gave to the kids.  The chocolate was melty.  Jameson loved it and managed to get it all over himself.  He is such a cheesed.

A lot of progress what made on the house on Monday and Tuesday.  They finished the deck and the interior closets.  They also finished the siding and Mike C finished the fireplace surround and the carpet.  It was discouraging that as soon as they were complete, Steve had to leave for Washington State and I had to head to CV for three days to help McKay's friend Jared find a house.  It was a lot of work, but 50 houses later, I think we have found one.

When Steve and I returned on Friday afternoon, we jumped into the mess and worked our heads off putting our household together and organizing things.

We were exhausted when we went to bed after midnight on Saturday night.  However, it is starting to look like home.  Taylor arrived in town late Sat. but stayed at the hotel with his Chinese dealers.  They are in UT for their big global summit.
Taylor was able to visit us for breakfast this morning.  We enjoyed visiting for a couple of hours and eating German pancakes made in our new little kitchen.

Of course, Steve took advantage of his help to load some leftovers we don't have room for in the back of the pickup to take to CV.  Thanks, Taylor, it was great to see you.  Hope we get to see him again before he returns to China.
