January-First You are Cold and Then You Aren't!

We weren't available on Jameson's actual birthday so we added to the celebration that weekend.  He loved getting some additional gifts.
Taylor's family was back in SL spending time with Jen's parents and siblings.  The day before they left, Will was trying on some church jackets Jen had wanted.  However, she ran out of time, so I shopped for her and found some options.  Will loved them all but finally settled on the red and navy blue plaid.

Taylor took us to the airport on Friday, the 15th, so that we could fly out to Texas.  Jen and the kids left on the 14th and Taylor flew to CA on the 16th for company meetings.  It's always hard to say "goodbye" to my kids and grandkids.

What removed the sting was getting picked up at the SA airport by Tiffany and then stopping for lunch in the sunny, warm weather.  We left behind cold and snow and arrived with the temperature in the high 60's.  It was perfect weather for a little soccer while waiting for our lunch at the restaurant.  Tiffany was wise to pick a place we could eat outdoors and Abigail could run off some energy.

That afternoon, Steve helped Abigail "remove" one of her loose baby teeth.  We tried hard during our stay to get her to wiggle some others loose but we weren't successful at removing any others.  Go, Shawn!

Abigail and I had fun playing with her tea set and getting all fancy in some of her headwear.  We loved walking around the neighborhood while she rode her bike.  The warm weather was a real treat!
