Let The Cruise Begin...

Our sail away from Miami on March 13th was absolutely beautiful!  We didn't realize that parts of Miami could be so beautiful.  Many years ago, we were in the northern part of the city and we weren't all that impressed.  This time we got to see some pretty parts.

We started our evening off with a delicious dinner in the formal dining room.  Here is a picture of Steve's cordon bleu.

Below is a photo of the dining room  where we ate most evenings.  We made friends with the maitre D and she gave us a wonderful table by the window every night at 5:15-5:30.  Our waiter was such a nice smiley guy named Mario from India.  We will really miss him--his service and his food!

 We spent the next two days at sea traveling to Aruba.  We did a lot of walking, eating, napping, attending seminars, etc. and more eating and walking, in that order.  We also watched a movie of Dolly Parton's life and "Sully", about the miracle on the Hudson River.  Both were excellent.  As soon as we got used to not using our cell phones, we began to relax.  It was good.
