Soon the China Prices joined us in CV and the celebrations began. First we celebrated Jen's birthday.
The kids enjoyed playing with their cousins and Preston warmed right up to grandpa!
Bald Buds!
They all loved playing in the snow! Such fun!
We were able to fit in Britton's chorale concert and a piano recital with Jenna and Britton performing.
We had a great time cutting, baking and decorating cookies with any willing children.Everybody loves Preston!
Sunday after a wonderful, inspirational sacrament meeting featuring Britton as the narrator, we all had dinner together at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Christmas Eve we gathered at Hilary's house and not only had Reuben sandwiches but a meat and cheese tray and chicken paninis. We were thoroughly enjoying our expanded yummy dinner menu, when suddenly water began dripping from the ceiling light fixture.
Oh, trouble for sure!
Pause the feasting, as we rounded up fans, pulled back the carpet and mopped and vacuumed up a lot of water as the upstairs toilet flap had stuck causing the big overflow! Ugh!About an hour and a half later, we finished our dinner and moved onto our acting our of the nativity while the scriptures regarding the Savior's birth were read.
After we finished reading the Christmas story, Prices left to get their kids in bed and the Campbell's opened their Christmas Eve gift.
Christmas morning, the C kids eagerly await the signal to come down the stairs and discover their Christmas presents.
After enjoying the morning festivities at Hilary's house, we left a breakfast ring to be baked and went back to our house to enjoy the Christmas morning fun with Taylor's family! The kids were delighted with their gifts and of course, everyone loved the breakfast ring.
Grandpa and Grandma pause from their Christmas morning fun to pose for a photo in their new hats made by Abigail! Thanks sweetheart!
After breakfast, we loaded our luggage in the car and drove to the airport for our flights to PA.
Here is the Christmas dinner we shared between our flights. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. Ours was certainly an action packed day!
