Here is Grandpa with Adam, Britton, Korinne and Jenna as they return from Trick or Treating throughout their local neighborhood. No one is happier to be back Treat or Treating than Steve. Last year the two of us went to the movie, High School Musical 3 on Halloween night since the neighbors warned us that we wouldn't get any Trick or Treaters. Even though Steve loves High School Musical, it was kind of disappointing. There were about 6 people in the theater and we really missed out on the Halloween experience.
So this year, it was well worth the 1 1/2 hour drive each way to spend Halloween with Hilary and Adam's family.

Hilary's ward had a huge Trunk or Treat. It was amazing how many adults joined in the costuming. Jenna gives a big grin. Korinne is the green dragon turned sideways.
The ward had a chili cook-off before the Trunk or Treat festivities. We loved sampling the soups and chili recipes too. Here we chat with a few characters with questionable reputations. Some of you may recognize these scoundrels.
Earlier in the week my cousin, Marilyn invited me to join my Aunt Wanda and some cousins for lunch. Wanda is my mother, Aloha's, only living sibling. She's in her 80's and her health is declining. It was a real treat to get together. Left to right, Kristen, Vickie, Robyn, Wanda, Marilyn and LaRell. Vickie and Robyn are Wanda's daughters. Marilyn and LaRell are my Aunt Claudia's daughters. Wanda is leaving soon to spend the winter at her Phoenix home.
