Yesterday evening after I finished my open houses, Steve and I headed north so we could see Korinne, Jenna and Britton in their annual Primary Program on Sunday. We arrived just before sunset, so we were able to check out a lot that we own nearby. The former owner has been keeping his horses there for the past year and 3/4. Surprise, he gave us a bonus when he left. Now we won't even have to build a house. And you can see the valley view right through it. How about that?
Hilary had the girls' hair all washed and braided so it will be curly the next day. We had fun hearing them perform on the piano and show us all of the things they are involved in. They are such cute kids.
This morning Korinne and Jenna helped me make waffles. They love the batter just as much as the waffles.
Here we are all cleaned up and in our Sunday best, ready for church and excited to see the program.
We weren't a bit disappointed in the program. Hilary directed her 140 kids and a huge bunch of teachers in an inspirational and touching program. The kids did a terrific job and, of course, the program ended right on time--well actually about 1 minute early. Steve was impressed. Hilary was relieved. Adam was the quiet, smiling supporter, and I was extremely happy to be there and pleased with everything. This was something really special!
