September Fun!

How fun it has been for us to travel and see our fabulous grandchildren participate in their various Primary presentations. Last week we drove to Idaho for this purpose. Tanner and Quinn were not included in the program because of age but here they are in the photo I wanted. Brinley, Jantzen, Anna and Elsie knew all the words to the songs and did a great job on their individual parts. Elsie told us her part several times at home but felt shy in front of the congregation so we were convinced she knew it. As a counselor in the Primary presidency, Heather was happy to have the program over for the year.
While we were there, we greeted our newest tenants you moved into our beautiful Idaho house that weekend. On her own initiative Brinley made some delicious homemade cookies to welcome them. We sampled them too.We made a trip to the Great Harvest Bread Store, one of our favorites, to have a fresh bread gift basket assembled. Then we delivered it. Heather, Jantzen, Anna, Elsie, Steve and I loved the bread samples too.The little ones love to have Grandpa Steve read to them. He does it often.Tanner has a couple of new pets. He did a great deal of research to decide which pets to purchase and how to care for them. All the kids love to play with his gerbils. Here Tanner reviews some important information about gerbils with family members. He is very thorough in his care and feeding of his new pets.
