More Sunshine in the South!

One day Steve, Libbie, Sadie and I hit the outlet stores while Jeff and Benson went golfing with the neighbors.

 There are two Tanger Outlet Malls in their area but we limited ourselves to one.  Sadie loved all of the little vehicles which seemed to be everywhere.  She slyly asked Papa for some money to make them move, but seemed happy anyway. We knew that her mother had said no.  Afterwards we went serious shopping at the local Costco to get supplies for Libbie and Jeff's New Years' Party that they were hosting the next night. It is so nice to have a Costco nearby.

 That night Steve and I watched the kids while Jeff and Libbie had a "real" date.  One night they actually went to a model NASCAR track.  They got so wild and crazy.

 The home they live in now is much more conducive to the entertaining they often do.  There is a dining room on one side of the kitchen and a family room on the other side.

 It is an open floorplan which makes it much easier to host several people or families. Libbie and Jeff have worked hard to help many people feel included in their ward by hosting gatherings.

 On our last morning, we drove for one more walk on the beach.  On the way we stopped at Hardees for some cinnamon raisin biscuits.  They were yummy.  A couple of days earlier we had sampled the boberry biscuits at BoJangles.  They are made with blueberries and were a little larger for a little less money.  You really should sample the biscuits when you are in the South.  The biscuits there are fantabulous!

 Jeff, Libbie and Benson are amazingly good at finding sharks teeth.  Sadie and I were good at finding rocks and shells.  This morning the shark teeth hunters did an exceptionally good job.

 Even though it was chilly, I walked barefooted.  It is awesome to walk on the sand with your bare feet. 

 You notice that Steve is looking like a movie star with his whiskery, manly look.  He couldn't find the razor that he always keeps in his suitcase so he just let the hair grow.  He figured he must have accidentally removed it at home.  Well now that we are home and it isn't here, we are suspicious that some TSA agent felt he needed it more.  Do you see the Sean Connery resemblance?  Maybe he needs to remove his hat first.

 Sadie loved those biscuits.  So did we.  Benson and Jeff, not so much.
