Happy Birthday, Heather and Other Fun Things!

I have been with her several times this month, but we still didn't officially celebrate her birthday.  I had to drive north to Idaho for a real estate CE class and we were able to squeeze in lunch together.  That was fun! Heather we are so happy to have you as a part of our family.  Love you!
The MLK weekend Heather & Aaron and kids came down for some appointments and errands. We had fun with the kids as they watched a movie at our house with popcorn, of course.  In the evening, we went with the whole family to the local swimming pool.  Sunday after church they went north for dinner with Aaron's family.

Monday, Steve and I took some of the adventurous grandkids to the zoo.  It was cold and a bit snowy which turned out to be awesome.  The animals who were out seemed more lively and entertaining.  We especially enjoyed the gorillas and giraffes as they were eating.  The tigers were right next to the window and we enjoyed our very first spotting of the snow wolf.
Elsie and Quinn loved turning the automatic hand dryers on in the bathroom.  They were so entertained, that they weren't in a hurry to move on.  We had been the only patrons of the restroom so far that day.  We only saw 4 or 5 other families scattered throughout the zoo.  It was almost like we owned the place.

After the zoo and a trip to Costco for lunch, Steve took a Anna and Jantzen to the movie and I took Elsie and Quinn with me to take pictures of a house for some clients.  Tanner and Brinley opted to stay at our house and work on projects and homework.  It was fun having them around for the weekend.  Hope to see them again soon.
