We were grateful that Heather & Aaron's church started at 11 a.m. as that gave us time to get everyone dressed up and looking their Sunday best. Aaron and Adam were the main chefs for the "big dinner" so they were up early making preparations. We took a few minutes to take pictures of the girls and then the guys. Awesome!
Steve and I were almost overcome with emotion as we sat in Sacrament Meeting with our entire family. We are so grateful for that choice experience. We pray that they will all remain faithful to the gospel of Jesus Christ and that we will have this opportunity again in the future.
After church Steve's sister Kathy, her husband Brent, and Marci, Jake,s wife and kids, Cole,
Riley and Oakley joined us as we had dinner, celebrated Steve's birthday a few days early and gathered for family pictures. As usual, Kathy brought fabulous treats, as in multiple yummies. Our dinner was outstanding too. Thanks to our chefs.
After our delicious feast, we changed our clothes into our coordinated family outfits and drove up to the university gardens. We had chosen this gorgeous backdrop for our family photos. Mostly the kids were cooperative and we had a lot of fun. We had a few camera glitches and our efforts for a stair step picture of the grandkids didn't end with perfect results but we really appreciate Brent, Kathy and Marci helping us with this important part of my dream reunion.
I was generally so happy to have our family together for pictures. We can enjoy sharing these photos and reminiscing for years to come. Thanks to all of you for your contribution to my dream.
