Elsie Janene was baptized by her father, Aaron, and became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on July 11, 2105. Above she and her mother, Heather, prepare her hair for the event.

Elsie's is getting her baptismal clothing. There were 10 baptisms in her stake on Saturday. It was a very nice, well-organized service.

Bring on the food. We had a nice brunch at Heather and Aaron's afterward. Two of Aaron's brothers, Jared and Chris, and their families were able to attend. Two of Heather's sisters, Tiffany and Hilary and part of their families were there too.

I love visiting with Laverne. He was very good friends with my parents, Bob and Aloha. I love having that additional connection with this fine gentleman.
