Prior to the beginning of July, we had a FaceTime session with McKay's family. It was fun to see them. It's the first time we have ever seen McKay with a beard.
July first came with a bang as Jen, Will, June and Taylor arrived from China that night.
While they were very tired from their long trip, jet lag just wouldn't allow them to go to sleep immediately. Fortunately they were able to get some rest later that night. We only had a couple of days with Taylor before he had to go back to China to work. We did manage to enjoy the Hyrum 4th of July parade in the 100 degree heat and have a BBQ with Hilary's family.
We also had a brief visit with Seth & Meagan and their kids, including new baby boy, Dash, on Friday night so they could see Taylor and Jen.
June and Will work diligently on their "homework" pages.
Here are the kids waiting for the start of the parade. This was the only time they sat down.
It was sizzling hot day so the hats and umbrellas were very helpful. We drank a lot of water. And the kids got a lot of candy.
We watched a movie indoors in the afternoon as it was cooler inside and we filled them up with popcorn as a break from the candy.
We celebrated June's 4th birthday which was actually on June 20th. Taylor purchased some decorated cookies for the occasion.
We love sitting on our deck in the evenings. It is so beautiful and very nice when it cools down! We also love watching various fireworks displays throughout the valley from our deck. It is awesome for watching fireworks!
Tiffany and Abigail arrived on the 9th from Texas. It's always great to have our Texans in town.
