Lots of Unusual Buildings in Shanghai

I'm holding William under a light blanket. The Chinese love to see the Caucasian babies and don't respect personal space, so we usually kept him covered out in public.

Sunday on the way home from church we stopped at an area near the river call the Bund. Lots of people were enjoying the beautiful sunny weather which was very unusual for Shanghai. Shanghai is a city of great contrasts--so many tall, unusual and interesting buildings. Many right next to very poor areas. Taylor's very nice apartment is like that. It has fantastic views but right across the street are tiny, dirty tenement type homes. There are local markets just around the corner from their apartment.
