Did someone say swimming?
Hilary, Adam and their kids came down Friday afternoon to help prepare for the big event--The Annual Flag Day Breakfast- hosted by Adam and me to show appreciation to our clients. The first and last stops of the weekend were the Thatcher pool. The water was the perfect temperature and its hardly ever crowded. The kids loved it!

Steve wanted to practice on our super duper grill so we set it up at the edge of the garage and used the driveway as a patio because we have shade there in the afternoon. We couldn't decide if we were tailgating or just pretending to be low lifes. Anyway, we had a great hamburger cookout. I think the neighbors were jealous.

Nothing like tailgating in your garage!
Early Saturday a.m. we were at the Winchester Parkway Pavilion setting up for our big breakfast. It's the first time in several years that we have actually had nice weather. It was fantastic not to have to wear parkas in June. And it's no surprise that we had a lot more particiants too.

Britton lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance and Alisa Johannson sang a rousing rendition of the National Anthem. Britton said it was a lot better than at the Real Soccer game last week. It was awesome. Hopefully she will come again next year.
Larah with her family and her sister's family. We had a couple of mini family reunions. It was fun to see families gathering together and having fun.
The fish pond is always a favorite with the kids. We also borrowed Ann's bouncy house which was a big hit.
Dustin and Laura with their new baby, Grant. He's about 3 weeks old.
Steve and Adam helping with the clean up after all of the fun.
Jen washed a lot of dishes, pans and containers. Britton and Jenna helped with the work too.
Will likes to sit in boxes, coolers, containers, etc. Jenna did a lot to keep him out of the road and made sure he was "helping" too.

Which person is expecting a baby? Just a little girth comparison.

Much to Jen's relief, Taylor arrived on Saturday afternoon. The baby could make her arrival any time so Jen and Will are happy that Taylor is now in the vicinity and not half way around the globe. Saturday night we attended a ward picnic. Will got to jump in another bouncy house and play on the swings and playground. Was that breakfast just this morning?
Will is giving baby June a big kiss before he goes to bed on Saturday night. He innocently has no idea just how much his world is going to change soon.

The weather was so nice for your breakfast. It was fun to see everyone even if it was only for a few minutes.
