Cameron, Jessica and Thomas love breakfast at the hotel and especially the opportunity for a refreshing swim. So after a very late night, we slept as long as we could without missing out on breakfast. Then the kids headed for the pool. You can see their exhuberance in the photo. 
On our way back to PA, we stopped off in Mendon, NY to checkout the area where Samuel Smith sold a Book of Mormon to Phineas Young at a local inn. Phineas shared the book with his family. We wanted to walk along the field to find the place where Brigham Young, Phineas' brother, and 30 other people were baptized. It was private property though so we decided against that adventure. We did see the building where the inn was and we saw the home built by Brigham Young and his father, John. Couple missionaries now live in the home and one of the current missionries gave us directions to the home. We took a few minutes for the kids to swing from the tree in the back yard.

The last morning of our trip was spent watching the kids pretending to be cowboys, hence the winter boots. Then we took a long walk to their school playground and then on to a neighborhood park. It was so fun to see them ride their bikes and scooters, run, jump, swing, climb and show us their tricks. We got home just before the rain started.
Our last stop on the way to the airport was at The Christmas Tree Store. I picked up a few items for my Flag Day Breakfast next year and some soft licorice for a snack on the plane.
What a fun time we had on our trip to visit with McKay, Tricia, Cameron, Jessica and Thomas! We love you all. Thanks for the memories!
