Saturday was a beautiful, sunny day in CV. We enjoyed our winter walk and then Steve went to work putting the treadmill back together and getting our exercise room back in shape. I worked on the ward history and other household chores. In the afternoon, Jenna, Korinne and Jameson arrived followed shortly by Britton. Some of their friends came with them to watch a movie. While the younger kids mostly watched a movie, Steve took Britton to his indoor soccer game.
Hilary and Adam were off to Utah County to visit Adam's parents in the MTC and then watch a Jazz game from Academy's box. We were happy to watch the kids and requested that they be allowed to spend the night.
Jameson is so entertaining. He loved peeling the little, and I do mean little, oranges I had in the bowl. He also loved making oatmeal cookies. He would dump stuff in and then turn around and take some out for a taste. It was hilarious.
He was a little disappointed when I wouldn't let him put the spoon back in the bowl after licking it but there was a cookie soon so it turned out fine. It was fun to watch Korinne reading him a story. We had fun with the kids. Yesterday we enjoyed hearing Britton and Hilary give excellent talks in sacrament meeting.
After the kids were in bed, Steve had an incident that wasn't fun or funny. He was walking to the office in the night without switching on the light. He caught his toe in a stray shoe and almost went down hard. Fortunately he was able to grab the stair railing. Nevertheless he has a painfully bruised toe and a sore thumb. We doctored him with Blue Rub and some ibuprofen and he was able to get back to sleep. He was able to get his shoe on for church but has been stocking footed most of the time.
Today, after more oils, soaking in epsom salts, and using the vibration machine to increase circulation, his toe is looking so much better. It is healing and we are thankful for that because of his trade show the first of March. We love our exercise room and since we can't go out walking, this morning we used it. I used the treadmill and Steve used the bike. We both used the vibration machine. We are making a serious effort to take care of our health.

I love it when grandkids come for sleepovers. Sorry for Steve's toe, but glad he was able to catch himself from falling clear down.
