It wasn't just the 7 bedroom, 7 bath log cabin near the lake that made our family gathering so much fun, but it sure did help.
It wasn't just the swimming pool nearby, but it sure did help even though it didn't have a bathroom.
It wasn't just the ice cold lake without beaches this early in the season because of so much snow this past winter, but it sure was beautiful to look at.
It wasn't just the noodles used for swimming, sword fighting and imaginary play, but it sure did help.
It wasn't just the slip and slide or the jumpy house that GG Ann loaned us for the gathering, but it sure did help.
It wasn't just the little ones who loved to get into things and often needed naps, namely Quinn, Will, Thomas, etc. that made our days so fun, but they sure were cute.
It wasn't just Aunties reading stories and helping with bubbles, games etc., that made it so much fun, but it sure did help.
It wasn't just having Baby June to hold and cuddle, that made it so much fun, but it sure did help and she loved all of the attention.
It wasn't just all the yummy food that made it so fun, or was it? No, but it sure did help.
It wasn't just the scenery and the evening walk, that made it so much fun, but it sure did help.
It wasn't just the hot tub on the deck with beautiful views of the lake that made it so much fun, but it sure was popular with both kids and adults.
It wasn't just the movie the kids watched and all the popcorn that they ate, but it sure did help.
It wasn't just the cousins playing and playing and playing together without hardly a frowny face, but it sure did help.
It wasn't just the crafts and projects that Tiffany planned for the kids that made it so much fun, but it sure did help.
It wasn't just Elsie's 4th birthday with cupcakes and fancy decorations that made it so fun, but it sure did help.
It wasn't just the adult milkshake runs for famous raspberry shakes and comparing the local eateries that made it so much fun, but it sure did help.It wasn't just a trip to the local live theater for some that made it so much fun, but it sure did help.
It wasn't just the company of family members gathered from far and near because we really missed Liberty, Jeff, Benson and Sadie, but it sure did help to have most of us together for two days.

It guess it really was the food. You know it is all about the food. No really, it was all of those things and many more that made our family gathering so memorable. Thanks to everyone for helping in the kitchen, setting up the blow up toys, playing with the kids in the pool, helping with the crafts, and joining us in the fun. Hopefully next time, we can have a real reunion.
