End of a Good Thing...

We spent the last two days of our cruise at sea.  Fortunately it was warm enough on Thursday for Abigail to swim and for us to enjoy being outdoors on the deck.  We were able to do our walking after meals and I joined the dancing exercise class two mornings.  Tiff and Abigail joined with me on Thursday, but Tif came down wrong on her recently injured (doing martial arts) foot and had to give up the dancing.  We iced it down a lot and tried to keep her walking to a minimum. So sorry for Tif.

Here is the roast pig, they carved up at the buffet one day.  The food was often presented quite elaborately.

The room stewards created these creatures  out of towels and put them out on our beds each day.  It was fun and Abigail loved them.  You can see that our room was wall to wall beds at night.  I slept in the middle.

Here is Abigail doing her homework on the deck of the ship.  It wasn't all fun and games.

Steve loved seeing the oil rigs as we got closer to Houston.  It was really interesting.

We got so spoiled--especially me.  We got to enjoy all of that delicious food without cooking or cleaning up.

We ate early in the evening and then went to the theatre to stake out our seats for the evening performances.  The entertainment was top notch.  We really enjoy that aspect of cruising.

Here is the only exercise photo that wasn't blurry.  Sorry all you can see is my hind end.  I'm the one in the turquoise top, blue pants and coral shoes.  I just wanted to document that I completed the sessions each day right along with the younger gals.

Abigail picked up on my primitive crochet instruction quite well.  It gave her something to do while waiting for the show.

Our last day at sea was marked by 60 mile an hour winds and 18 ft swells.  The walking decks were blocked off so we weren't able to do our post meal walks.  We were fortunate because we didn't really get sick.  By the last day we were accustomed to the ocean movement.  We like cruising!
