We absolutely loved cruising out of Houston. It was so easy to park the car and get on the ship. We are sad that Norwegian is moving their port to Miami instead. Of course, we really loved flying into San Antonio and having Tiffany drive us to Houston. That was the best.
On both our drives between SA and Houston, we stopped by the famous gas station and more- BUC-EE's. There are signs for a 100 miles announcing his location. It is HUGE and a most interesting place for a potty stop. The bathrooms are HUGE too and VERY CLEAN! Here is the jerky counter. We took advantage of those clean bathrooms and bought a few scones (yummy) at the bakery counter. We picked up some beaver nuggets which are similar to the corn puff treats I make at Christmas. I could make a lot of money selling them in Texas because mine are better.
Saturday afternoon Shawn took us to Gander Mountain to educate us (mostly me) on handguns. There is a lot to learn about those.
We always enjoy attending church with Tiffany, Shawn and Abigail. They have been going to the same building for a long time, but have been in several different wards. We recognized a few people including their new bishop.
We loved taking neighborhood walks and relaxing with their family on Sunday. It was one of the warmer days of our trip.
Here I am trying out the pistol with the lazer site. Of course, it is more expensive but that red dot marking the spot was a plus for me.
